Thanks to the incredible generosity of supporters like you, Newquay Foodbank will now open two extra days a week throughout January, February, March, and April. This expansion is made possible by funds raised at the Cornwall Christmas Fair, held at the Eden Project.
This year's fair raised an astounding £68,000 for charities across Cornwall. These vital funds will help extend Newquay Foodbank’s opening hours from three to five days a week and support theCornwall Community Foundation’s Surviving Winter Fund, which provides essential warmth and care to the county’s most vulnerable residents.
Other deserving charities benefiting include WILD Young Parents Project, St Petrocs, The Women’s Centre Cornwall, Young & Talented Cornwall, and With You drug and alcohol support services.
Organised entirely by volunteers, this year’s Fair featured over 60 festive stalls and raised funds through sponsorship, ticket sales, and stallholder contributions. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed.
